Mydriacyl (Tropicamide) eye drops solution 0,5% contain an antimuscarinic tertiary amine that is used, just ike atropine, in order to obtain midriasis or cycloplegia, both in diagnosis purposes as well as for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the eye and fot the prevention or treatment of adhesions between iris and crystalline in case of uveitis or strabismus.
Therapeutic actions: Tropicamide relaxes the ophthalmic muscles thus inhibiting the contraction of the pupil. The dilatation of the pupil usually lasts for not more then 3-4 hours.
Indications: Mydriacyl ophthalmic is used before eye surgery or eye examination to dilate the pupil.

Contraindications and cautions: During the use of the Tropicamide be cautious in driving or operating machinery because the preparation makes your eyes sensitive to light and may cause blurred vision.
