Jeanine (Ethinylestradiol and Dienogest)

Jeanine (Ethinylestradiol and Dienogest)

Description

Jeanine (Ethinylestradiol and Dienogest)  are hormonal birth control pills, a so-called oral contraceptive. Jeanine is a combined pill or combined oral contraceptive (COC) as it contains a combination of 2 female hormones, dienogest (a progesterone-like hormone) and ethinylestradiol (an estrogen). As the active tablets contain only small amounts of hormones Jeanine belongs to the group known as low-dose pills (micropills).

Jeanine (Ethinylestradiol and Dienogest)  is a so-called monophasic preparation, meaning that all active tablets contain the same hormones in the same amounts.
