How does Clomid / Clomiphene citrate work ?
Clomid stimulates the production of hormones required for ovulation to
occur. It is mainly used for treating female infertility. Clomid is
used to stimulate ovulation production when a woman's ovaries can
produce a follicle but hormonal stimulation is deficient. Basically
Clomiphene is very much useful in treating ovulatory dysfunction in
women desiring pregnancy. Best response of Clomiphene can be achieved
in the patients with PCOs (Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome). Clomid got approval from the FDA
and has become widely available through regular pharmacies
and online.
