Bromocriptin (Bromocriptine) is a prescription medicine licensed for the treatment of parkinsonism, acromegaly, hyperprolactinemia, type 2 diabetes, amenorrhea with or without galactorrhea; infertility or hypogonadism; prolactin-secreting adenomas. It is part of a group of medications called ergot alkaloids that work by stimulating dopamine receptors, decreasing growth hormone production by the pituitary gland, and reducing prolactin production by the pituitary gland.
Contraindications:
